
Starting September 29th, shoppers will see a lot more foods labeled with the country in which they were grown. The COOL law (country-of-origin-labeling) requires retailers to notify customers of the country of origin, including the U.S., of raw beef, veal, lamb, pork, chicken, goat, wild and farm-raised fish and shellfish, fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables and peanuts.
